Fighting for change, equality and shared parenting in the Family Courts.
Many applications are abandoned because parents run out of money, suffer ill health or the ability to simply carry on. The cost of going to court can range from £10-£50,000 in a process that can take years. Many parents cannot afford to go to court and spend thousands of pounds on a court order which has a 50% chance of being broken and will not be enforced by a judge. One study found contact decreases over time and breaks down entirely in over 20% of cases within 5 years (Simpson, McCarthy, & Walker, 1995).

Alienated Parents
At a Family Court hearing recently, I was officially cautioned and ORDERED by the sitting District Judge NOT to contact the police again. Specifically, this related to times when I had serious concerns, (based entirely upon what my son had told me) that returning him to his Mother, I would be placing him “in a place where he would be at serious risk of harm”. When questioning this, I was told by the judge that “I must IGNORE the advice the police had given me” about my son’s safety and well being.
I am going through Family Courts for access to my son. However with more false allegations it is very likely I will lose contact to my son or may be put under supervision contact even after proven that I am no risk to my child or my wife.
Family Courts and Social Services are not there to protect your children.
